Terms and Conditions of Use of the Conference Web Shop

General provisions

These sales terms define the procedure for ordering, paying, delivering, refunding or claiming the product. The Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology Osijek is a product seller through an interactive online service that is enabled through the Internet (Web site) (hereinafter: the Web Shop). Customer Product is the ultimate registered user of the Web Shop that chooses a product, generates order, and saves the product.

The Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology Osijek sells and delivers products (goods and services) through the Web Shop in accordance with the terms and conditions set out below. By using and accessing the Web Shop, the Customer or the Visitor (i.e. End User) is deemed to have read and understood the Terms and Conditions of Use, to be familiar with and comply with the terms and conditions set forth herein, and to use the service in accordance therewith. End users (i.e. buyers, visitors) can send their service-related inquiries to the following e-mail address: sst2018@ferit.hr.

For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, the reference point is the page that contains detailed product, service, conference, or event information.
The right to use the Web Shop is not transferable to other physical or legal entities.

Information on the Web Shop may contain technical inaccuracies or typographical errors. The Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology Osijek does not guarantee or warrant, explicitly or tacitly, that the contents of the Web Shop and/or related pages are complete or updated and that the Web Shop and/or related pages will always be available and accessible and will not cause any damage to users, registered users, or third parties. Each user and registered user (customer) explicitly accepts the use of this Web Store at his or her sole discretion and shall be solely responsible for any costs associated with the maintenance or repair of computer equipment. Any warranty given on this site applies solely to the products or services provided by the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology Osijek.

The Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology Osijek reserves the right at any time to upgrade, modify or terminate the Web Shop and/or related sites, including, but not limited to, content, availability time as well as the equipment required to access or use the Site. The Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology Osijek is authorized to discontinue any part/type of information, to modify or terminate any data transmission method, and to change the data transfer rate as well as any other characteristics thereof. Information may be altered without prior notice. The Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology Osijek can also at any time make improvements and/or changes in the products described in this information without prior notice. If the User (buyer) does not accept the Terms and Conditions of Use, he/she shall refrain from using the Web Shop. The Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology Osijek reserves the right to revise the Terms and Conditions of Use at any time as well as to terminate access to the Web Shop without prior notice.

Price and product description

The product being sold is in accordance with a written description contained in the description of items given below the product name.
The price you pay is listed on the product page and it includes all taxes. The price is expressed in Euro (€). The product price does not include shipping costs.
Before paying, the final price will be converted into Croatian Kuna and it will be shown as such to the buyer.

The Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology Osijek reserves the right to change product descriptions, prices and conditions at any time.

Order procedure

In order for your order to be correct, you must follow the procedure provided for by the Web Shop. Your order is accepted if you have received an order confirmation email from us. By receiving an Email Certificate, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology Osijek believes that you agree to the order and that there is a contractual relationship.

Availability of products

In the case of partial shipment/delivery, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology Osijek shall only deliver the available products and notify the Buyer by e-mail (telephone) thereof, indicating at the same time the time of delivery of the remaining undelivered products.

Payment

Purchased products with the cost of delivery (if any) shall be paid by the Buyer to the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology Osijek on the basis of the T-Com Pay Way electronic billing system or cash on delivery.

All payments shall be effected in Croatian currency. The charged amount on your credit card account is converted into your local currency according to the exchange rate of credit card associations.

Security of payments

In the payment process, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology Osijek uses T-Com (third-party) services. T-Com Pay Way applies state-of-the-art data protection standards, i.e. the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol with 128-bit encryption and the MD5 algorithm. The ISO 8583 protocol ensures that data exchange between the T-Com system and the credit card authorization centers is carried out on a private network, which is protected from unauthorized access by a double layer firewall.

Delivery

The Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology Osijek shall deliver the ordered product by mail within 5 business days (Monday to Friday).

The Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology Osijek shall provide the products and services listed by the events or conferences in accordance with the deadlines specified in the description.

Cancellation and complaints

The Buyer may initiate a cancellation request and file a complaint about the product in accordance with legal requirements.
In the case of events or conferences, you can cancel a service up to 7 business days prior to the beginning of the event or conference. In order to exercise your right to cancel or complain, you must notify us via e-mail at: sst2018@ferit.hr about your intention to cancel or complain. To cancel or complain, please quote No. of the order or bill.

Privacy

The Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology Osijek will provide protection to buyer’s personal data by collecting only the essential, basic buyer and end-user information necessary to meet our obligations.
Collected buyer and end-user information is only available to the employees whose data is necessary for doing business.
The Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology Osijek does not collect and store card-related data (e.g. card number, verification code).

Obligations of the buyer and the end user

The Customer and the End User are solely and exclusively responsible for the procurement, use, and maintenance of their computer equipment, including but not limited, to the entire software and hardware they own and use, as well as other equipment necessary for accessing and using the Web Shop and all related expenses. The Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology Osijek is not responsible for any damage to the customer’s equipment that may result from the use of this Web Shop.

Only registered end users and buyers are required to collect the information that is necessary to fulfill our obligations. The customer’s obligation is that this information is accurate and up-to-date.

For his/her account the buyer must define a password in accordance with positive practice.
